2009: The Year of the Roller-Coaster
So far we’re off to a very topsy-turvy start to the year:
- friends had good news: engagement
- friend had bad news: unengagement
- promotion seemed stymied after a chat with boss
- gunning for promotion again after promising chat(s)
- finally got myself out running last week
- only managed it once and ached for a day afterward
- started reading my screenplays
- didn’t type anything yet…
- spending a lot of quality time with the family
- haven’t spoken to anyone back home over Christmas or New Year
- took care of the densely weeded garden and oiled the deck in the past week
- still got a lot to take care (pergola, outdoor furniture, wood treatment, more gardening)
But I’m positive! And I’m keeping at it!
